If you follow me on Twitter, you’ve probably realized that I’m a television junkie. Binge-watching is a habit I can’t quite break, and realistically, I don’t want to.

I’ve previously used this space to talk about my recommendations, but seasons change, shows come and go, and with over 500 new shows released last year, it’s time to make some cuts.

Network Television:

  • New:
  • Girl, bye:
    • The Bachelor / The Bachelorette (ABC): Look, I can’t do it anymore. I’ve been watching since Ali Fedotowsky was proposed to, which means I’ve dedicated approximately 368 hours to 8 bachelors and 7 bachelorettes. That’s over two weeks of my life. TWO WEEKS. ABC owes me a vacation.
    • Gotham (FOX): I successfully made it through 3 seasons. I dealt with bringing back everyone and their mother, only to kill them in a few episodes. I cheered at the rise of the Joker, and judged Bruce Wayne’s emo stage. The writing has deteriorated, plain and simple.

Cable:

  • New:
  • Gone but Not Forgotten:
    • Pretty Little Liars (Freeform): NEVER FORGET. Though the final season was a complete bust, it’s still one of my favorite shows of all time. If you haven’t had the pleasure, go ahead and stream the first two seasons.

Netflix:

  • New:
  • Girl, bye:
    • Bloodline: From the first episode, I couldn’t wait to watch more. Circumstances unbeknownst to me (aka I forget why), we only recently watched the third and final season. When we reached Part 32 (S3, Ep. 9), I started to get concerned. At the end of Part 33 (S3, Ep. 10), I actually stared in disbelief at my television set. WHY DID YOU DO THAT TO ME, WRITERS?!
  • Come Back Soon:

HBO:

Hulu:
